I completed my Bachelors and Masters Degree at UW-Milwaukee and Substance Use Disorder education through UW-Madison's Flex program. My clinical experience includes a variety of settings including human services through child protective services and juvenile delinquency, crisis intervention, adolescent group home, psychiatric hospital including inpatient and residential and now I assist individuals and families in an outpatient setting.
My experience in multiple settings has allowed me to develop diverse skills, build rapport and respond in an empathetic and supportive manner when working with individuals and families. I enjoy working with individuals (12 yr to adult), couples and families to address mental health, including and not limited to: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, relationship, home and work related concerns, as well as substance use and behavior management. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and goal driven, I seek to meet the client where they are, and use an eclectic style which allows me to gain a better understanding and view from the client's perspective. Together we develop goals, identify strengths and build skills to address life's challenges and personal obstacles.
